(NYSE: PT-141) announced today that it has shown positive results in a Phase I clinical trial of pT-141 for the treatment of sexual dysfunction in normal premenopausal women.The trial included 32 healthy female volunteers and evaluated their response to pT-141 and placebo in response to visual stimuli. Pt-141 was found to be safe and resulted in a significantly greater improvement in vaginal blood flow than placebo users (P<0.05).The trial was funded by Palatin Technologies Inc. and led by Dr. Raymond Rosen, a professor of psychiatry and medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey."
